This course is designed to teach students the foundation of CPT, diagnostic, and procedure coding. In this course, students will learn the fundamentals of medical coding along with test-taking strategies for the CPC exam. The course covers CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM coding. Students will apply coding concepts by completing practical applications.
The cost of the course includes the course materials, textbooks, and 2020 CPT Manual, 2020 ICD-10-CM, & 2020 HCPCS.

Meet Your Instructor
Veronica Hodges, MA, CPC, CPC-I, CMAA is a Medical Billing and Coding Instructor with 10 plus years experience teaching medical administrative courses. She also works as a remote coding auditor and physician educator. Veronica is a former practice manager. Veronica has conducted numerous E/M coding training courses for providers along with several coding courses for prospective coders. She has a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Management from Lander University and a Masters of Arts in Health Services Management. She is credentialed through the American Academy of Professional Coders as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) and a Certified Professional Coder – Instructor (CPC -I).
